In some mod­els of Blu­Ray and DVD play­ers there will be no sound played when con­nect­ed to your Jour­ney 13/14 pan­el. A workaround is to go to the SETTINGS of the BluRay/DVD play­er and find the AUDIO options. Find a set­ting that will allow you to change the out­put mode from “dol­by” or “5.1” or “sur­round” to “stereo”.
